GLACIER - BEHIND THE SCENES

We’re back, with another Behind The Scenes Post

Today we’re sharing about Glacier - FW19-20 Collection. If you don’t know much about it we’ll tell you right away:
It's aesthetic mix the ski and the serenity of the ice areas with the strong attitude of a cowboy and all pieces are made with deadstock fabrics and off-cuts from a Portuguese factory or organic cotton.
With this collection we want to raise awareness to the melting glacier as a consequence of Climate Change.

For this collection we started with deadstock fabrics, so when we sketched we had that in mind, of course. So we designed a collection that channelled the vibe of cowboys and the sublime of glaciers, that unfortunately are in danger, thinking how we could use tripes of denim and little pieces of deadstock.

Then we made the photos for campaign and website.
Together with a team of two photographers, (Loiros: David Coelho & Tanya Panchuk), Maria Cayatte as model, at Central Models, and makeup artist Beatriz Texugo, we created an icy and white atmosphere with a strong attitude and cowboy vibe.
